This luxury houseboat combines the comfort of a fully equipped holiday home with the unique experience of sleeping on the water. From the bright living room, you step directly onto the deck terrace, where you can enjoy the views and serenity of Mookerplas lake. A swimming ladder invites you for a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water.

What makes this accommodation truly special is the spacious roof terrace accessed via an external staircase. Here awaits a panoramic view over the shimmering Mookerplas and its green shores. With comfortable seating, artificial grass beneath your feet and shade from a parasol, this becomes your private observation deck. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee as the sun rises over the water, or counting stars with a glass of wine in the evening, this roof terrace will become your favourite spot.

Your luxury home base on the water

Step inside and immediately feel the warm, welcoming atmosphere. The modern living room with its large windows offers a constant spectacle of the shifting water and surrounding nature. The open kitchen invites you to cook together, complete with induction hob, refrigerator, kettle and Senseo coffee machine for that perfect start to the day.

In the master bedroom, you'll find a comfortable box spring bed where you can drift off to sleep with the gentle lapping of water as your natural lullaby. The second bedroom features bunk beds suitable for both adults and children. The living room also has a sofa bed, providing extra sleeping space for children or occasional use. This makes the houseboat ideal for families and suitable for up to 4 adults and 2 children. The modern bathroom offers complete comfort, with a refreshing shower after a day full of water activities.

Practical comfort has been considered too. Thanks to air conditioning, it stays pleasantly cool during warm summer days, while heating ensures a cosy atmosphere when evenings turn cooler. This makes the houseboat a wonderful place to relax by the water not just in summer, but in winter too. With free wifi, you can effortlessly share your best holiday photos or easily plan a day out in the area.

If you stay between April and November, you can use the marina's washing machine and dryer (for a fee), ideal for a carefree holiday. If you arrive with your own boat, you can moor it directly at the houseboat (maximum 2.5 x 5 metres). Parking is available within walking distance and with the available luggage trolleys, you can easily transport your belongings to your accommodation, so the holiday feeling can begin immediately.

Discover the diverse surroundings

Around Mookerplas lake, there's something new to experience every day. Take a refreshing swim, cast a fishing line without needing a licence, or explore the water with a luxury launch, SUP or kayak. From the water, you'll discover the most beautiful spots of this unique nature area.

There's plenty to experience on land too. Explore the Mookerheide and Reichswald with an E-chopper or fat bike, or set out for a walk or cycle ride through heathlands, forests and rolling landscapes. In the Mookerheide tourist area, you'll also find various charming restaurants and terraces within walking distance, ideal for a relaxed lunch or dinner.

For a day of culture and shopping, Nijmegen is nearby, while the German border also invites enjoyable excursions. Whether you choose adventure, nature or relaxation, the area offers something for everyone. Back on your houseboat, you can enjoy the view over the water and the feeling that you've truly escaped from it all.

The houseboat offers all the charm of a stay on the water, but remains at a fixed mooring during your visit. Since you stay directly on the water and can step into Mookerplas from the terrace, we recommend that children have swimming qualifications.
